Attend this institution for its progressive ideals and personalized curriculum. Arrive and do little but identify elements of the bureaucracy and yet continue to function within it. Sit through two, three, four credit hours on philosophy. Education reform. Political identity. Culture. Begin to develop righteousness for the cause. Do little. Do nothing. Consider; the glaring contradiction. Become unclear about what it is you actually feel anything discernible or organized about. Choose to change. Choose to incite change. The NS University Student Senate has experienced varying levels of legitimacy, and it’s long past time to question “Why?” The opportunity to be an intermediary between the students of Lang and the NS administration is the kind of offer that isn’t always available elsewhere, and the inherent meaning of that encourages everything this college strives to instill in us. Vote, or perpetuate the lack of voice that has been such a bitter point of contention.
