You got me, New Schoolers. My candidate statement last year called for active motions for change – taunted, even. Never could I have imagined what would be thrown at us this year; and I could not be more proud! From an occupation, to sustainability initiatives, and all the Dinner and Discussions between, the University Student Senate has had its plate full responding to student calls to arms. Having served as Co-chair on the Executive Board of the USS this year, it stands as one of my main interests that these enterprising acts continue to develop and progress. Yet, with my candidacy representing one of the only senators able to return next year, the guidance of the upcoming USS is called into question. For this institution, for your furthered enjoyment of it, and for this student leader – vote Katherine!
