About me
I was born and raised in Texas, living first in Austin, then San Antonio. After graduating from high school, I moved north to Minnesota to attend St. Olaf College. While attending, I studied abroad twice, spending terms in Shanghai and London. After graduating in 2006, (having completed majors in Theatre and in Asian Studies), I moved to the Twin Cities and spent time acting and doing corporate temp work.
In 2008, I moved to New York (the first time in my life not living near I-35) to pursue an acting career at The New School.
In the USS, I’ll try to do my darnedest to represent the needs and interests of my fellow Drama students, but I will strive to make this university better not for only them, but for all students in all schools. I look forward to working with my fellow Senators to accomplish many things.
I also want to let y’all know that I will respond to any email that you send to me (using that nifty form below). If you have a question about the USS, have a concern about the University that you want brought up in a Senate meeting, want to do some ol’ fashioned lobbying for a cause, or even want to know something silly like what my favorite soda is (Dr. Pepper), send a message to me, and I’ll be perfectly happy to respond! Of course, if the message is something that you’d like to be brought up in a meeting, but you’d still like your name to be anonymous, I’ll absolutely keep that quiet. Conversely, if you want me to be sure to say loud and clear who the message is from, I’ll do that too!
