Ben Fox
Hi, my name is ben fox and I am a final year student in bass. As your 2008-2009 Jazz Senator, I worked very hard to make the New School everything it could be. In addition to helping plan USS events, I served on several very important committees including this year’s Special Committee To Investigate the Occupation, where I got to know many administrators and trustees. This has given me unique insight into how the school bureaucracy really works. I also compiled the first chart of all the administrators at the New School, which you can see on the USS website at newschoolsenate.org. And finally, I have been working with the Jazz EDSAC Committee for two years, to campaign for better Jazz facilities and more practice rooms.
As your USS Senator and committee rep, I have been very dedicated to representing our school. I got to all USS meetings even when other Senators might not have shown up, and I have done lots of extra research. And finally, this term is only for four months, and because I was already a USS member I know what to do and can start working right away with no learning curve. Re-elect me to USS and I will go that extra mile for Jazz and the whole university.
