I was drawn to New York City because it was the biggest thing out there. The New School was by far the most interesting school that I could find and it represented a mainstream existing right below the mainstream. I think that’s what a lot of us were looking for. It represented a place where students and teachers can get away with teaching and learning risky things in risky ways. Of course when we actually arrive the reality reveals faults and cracks all over. We students are the ones best equipped to fix the shortcomings we experience.
Students have great ideas about how we can improve this school on a daily basis. The Student Senate exists hear these students and meet them with the resources they need (social and financial$$$) and work their projects into reality.

Every student is encouraged to attend a meeting. Our schedule is posted on our website. Looking forward to seeing you!
